How it Works
How do i get started?
What do I order?
What are your goals? We’ve placed the best treatment options into a category. Select which medication you feel aligns best with your goals. We can’t tell you which one will work best for you until you’ve tried it. Everyone responds differently to each treatment. Some people will feel they responded well to to the treatment while others find it amazing. That’s the beauty of peptides…..you have the ability to see what works the best for you, individually.
Ok, I selected the treatment I want to try. Now what?
Place the medication in your cart, complete the prequalification quiz and then pay for your items. Our team will review your medical intake form and order your medications.
What if the doctors don't approve me and I've already paid?
If you aren’t approved for the medications you selected we will suggest an alternative that best suits your needs and medical restrictions. If you don’t want that alternative we will refund you 100% of your medication purchase – No questions asked and hassle-free.
I've never done this before, order medications let alone injected. How do you help?
We are with you 100% of the way. Always available to guide you through beyond our post consult follow up. We provide you with resources to show you how to use your medications in an easy-to-follow video for self-injecting and administering nasal sprays. More questions? Let us know and we can talk you through it and offer tips and tricks that make it easy.
Do I begin with a bloodpanel?
That’s up to you. Most treatments don’t require blood work but as good health practice it is highly recommended to have a baseline before any treatments and before you start feeling aweful. With a baseline you know exactly how your bodies biology has changed. Hormone therapy and some weight loss peptides do require lab work. Lab work always help us tailor your treatment. You can order labs directly through us – no prescription required – and a mobile phlebotomist will come to your home or office for the draw. That mobile service is included in the cost of your labwork. This service is available in select areas.
What happens after I order bloodwork?
You’ll complete a brief medical history form so our team can understand your goals. Once your labs are completed, our provider will review your results and our care coordinator or nurse practitioner will reach out and discuss your treatment options. We may use email, chat, phone call, or telehealth call to discuss your results, goals, and treatment options.
What kind of treatments might be recommended?
Based on your goals and lab results, we may recommend hormone optimization, peptide therapy, thyroid support, or a combination of these. Every plan is tailored to your individual biology and lifestyle. many of our patients come in with a sense of which peptides interest them, and we often build on that by monitoring results on that peptide alone or build onto that by recommending complementary therapies – like hormone optimization or longevity protocols – to enhance results and support core functions in the body.
Is there a subscription or membership required?
No. You can scale up or down as needed. We offer optional refill subscriptions that offer discounted pricing, but there are no ongoing fees or locked-in memberships – just flexible, patient-centered care.
Do I need a prescription?
Yes, but you don’t need one in advance. Once you place an order on the website and complete your medical history, or labwork if required, our licensed provider will review everything and issue the prescription to fill the order. You can order bloodwork through our website without a prescription to get started.
Why Therapy?
Because your body deserves more than guesswork. Our therapies target the pain points you’re having now. Its time to do something about it.
Why consider peptide therapy if I already fell okay?
If feeling okay is what you’re shooting for than I guess you’re okay with feeling, well okay. Optimization therapy isn’t about treating illness—it’s about helping you feel, perform, and age better by improving how your body functions. Did you feel okay in your 20’s? Did you feel great or better yet, amazing? Let us help you get back to your 20’s.
What makes this different from supplements?
These are prescription-grade therapies, targeted to your biology, and far more effective than generic over-the-counter supplements. Peptides and Hormone Therapy is a totally different ballgame.
What are the benefits of starting therapy early?
Early optimization is about staying ahead, not waiting for your health to decline before taking action. By supporting your body’s natural hormone and cellular functions early on, you can prevent the slow drift into fatigue, poor recovery, brain fog, and stubborn weight gain that many people assume is “just aging.”
How do I know if I need it?
If you feel tired, foggy, unmotivated, or “off,” therapy can help restore balance—even if your labs look normal.
Can these therapies really help with energy, muscle, libido, sleep, and weight?
Yes. Most patients see improvements in energy, metabolism, mental clarity, and sleep quality within just days of starting.
Is this just for men or older people?
Not at all. We personalize therapies for women and men of all ages, based on symptoms and goals—not age alone.
Isn't aging just part of life?
Yes, but how you age is up to you. These therapies help slow down the decline and keep you feeling strong.
Is this safe, or just a wellness trend
These therapies have long been used behind the scenes by celebrities, elite athletes, and high-level executives to maintain energy, appearance, and perfomance. What was once exclusive to luxury wellness clinics in now available, safely and affordably, to people who simply want to feel better, function better, and age on their own terms.
Peptides & Hormones
What They Are, How They Work, and Why They Matter.
What are peptides, and how do they work?
Peptides are short chains of amino acids that act like messengers in the body, telling it to do specific things—like burn fat, build muscle, heal faster, or produce more natural growth hormone.
What do peptides actually do?
Different peptides serve different roles. Some stimulate growth hormone release, while others promote healing, support brain function, regulate appetite, or boost libido. They work by mimicking or enhancing natural biological signals – making them a highly targeted way to support your body’s natural systems.
Are peptide therapies safe?
Yes, when prescribed and monitored by a licensed provider. Peptides are generally well-tolerated because they work with the body’s existing signaling systems. At Beyond Better Biology, we use FDA-registered 503A pharmacies and base every protocol on safety, evidence, and personalized need.
How long before I feel results?
Most people begin to notice changes—like better energy, sleep, or recovery—within a day to 6 weeks, depending on the peptide and goal.
Do I need bloodwork before starting peptides?
Not necessarily but bloodwork will help us understand your baseline and tailor your protocol safely and effectively.
Will hormone therapy help me feel like myself again?
Yes. By optimizing your hormone levels, therapy can improve energy, mood, focus, metabolism, and overall vitality.
Will I need to take peptides or hormones forever?
Not necessarily. Some patients use peptide & hormone therapy as a short-term reset, while others continue longer based on their goals and how their body responds. Your provider will help guide you and your plan can be adjusted at any time.
What are the signs I might need hormone therapy?
Common signs include persistent fatigue, brain fog, low libido, mood swings, weight gain, poor recovery, and sleep disruptions. These symptoms are often overlooked or dismissed as “just aging,” but they are treatable.
Is hormone therapy safe?
When properly prescribed and monitored, yes. We use a variety of hormone therapies and tailor treatments and dosing to your needs, tracking symptoms and labs regularly for safety and balance.
Can I take peptides and hormones at the same time?
Yes, and often, that’s the most effective approach. Peptides and hormones can work synergistically to enhance results. For example, peptides may support natural growth hormone or healing, while hormone therapy addresses energy, metabolism, and libido. Together, they optimize multiple systems at once.
Shipping and Returns
Receiving your treatments and our return policy.
How long does it take to receive my medications?
Once your prescription is approved, most orders are received within 7 business days. Since these medications are shipped from US based compounding pharmacies that are FDA regulated, they need to be “made to order.” This means that some medications aren’t allowed to be manufactured or inventoried without a person specific prescription associated with it. Please be patient with receiving your order. We also want you to get it as soon as possible.
Do I need to be home to sign for delivery and what if my package arrives damaged?
Most packages do not require a signature unless specified by the pharmacy or required due to medication type. However, we strongly recommend being available to refrigerate temperature-sensitive medications as soon as they arrive. Medications are shipped in an insulated container with ice packs and are generally ok left unattended for 24-36 hours. If your medications arrive cool, that’s ok. This will not affect the safety or effectiveness of your medications. If your package was damaged in transport take a photo of the package and contents immediately and contact us the same day.
Can I return or exchange medications?
Due to federal and state regulations, we cannot accept returns or exchanges on any prescription medications or supplements. All sales are final once shipped. If there is a pharmacy error or damaged item, contact us immediately and we will help resolve the issue.
What to Expect
Questions about common side effects, symptoms, and more.
Will I feel like a different person?
You’ll still feel like you—but with more energy, clearer focus, improved mood, and better physical performance. It’s about feeling like your best self again.
Can I still take my other supplements and/or medications?
In most cases, yes. We’ll review your full health picture to make sure everything works together safely and effectively.
Will I need follow-up labs?
If you’re on hormone medications, yes. Routine labs help us track progress, fine-tune your plan, and make sure everything stays in balance for long-term results.
Will I need to make lifestyle changes?
You don’t have to, but supporting your therapy with better habits such as nutrition, exercise, and sleep will enhance your results.
Can I drink alcohol while on therapy?
Moderate alcohol is generally okay, but excessive drinking can interfere with hormone balance, recovery, and how well the therapies work. To get the most out of your treatments try cutting out all or most of your alcohol consumption. I’m confident to say you will feel so much better!
Is weight loss or muscle gain guaranteed?
These therapies support fat loss and lean muscle growth—but your results will be strongest when paired with consistent healthy habits like exercise, nutrition, adequate sleep. We give you all of the tools and the edge. The rest is up to you. Change is never easy but with the right guidance (and some science) it’s much easier than you’ve ever dreamed.
Will therapy affect my fertility?
Some hormone therapies may impact fertility, while others (like peptides or SERMs) may help support it. We’ll tailor your plan based on your goals. Be sure to discuss this with your provider.
Do I need to inject myself?
Some therapies are injectable, but many are oral, topical, sublingual, or intranasal. Generally speaking injectable therapies are the most bio-available, the ability for a drug or other substance to be absorbed into the body. We’ll recommend the option that fits best with your comfort and lifestyle. Also, the needles…they’re baby sized. Patients generally don’t even feel it. As the saying goes, the anticipation is worse than the reality.
Will I build up a tolerance over time?
Not typically. With proper cycling, monitoring, and dosing, most therapies remain effective long-term without needing constant dose increases.
Long Term Goals & Milestones
Your health is not something that should be treated as a quick fix. How to create milestones based on your treatment plan.
What kind of long-term results can I expect?
Improved energy, metabolism, mental clarity, body composition, and hormonal balance that supports how you age, recover, and perform over time.
How do we measure success with these medications?
We track both biomarkers and how you feel—energy, mood, strength, sleep, libido, and overall well-being are all key indicators.
When should I expect to hit major milestones?
Expect noticeable improvements in 2–6 weeks, with deeper changes in metabolism, hormones, and resilience building over 2–4 months and beyond.
Will I always need the same dose or protocol?
No—your body changes over time. We’ll adjust your plan as your biomarkers, symptoms, and goals evolve.
What if my goals change over time?
That’s expected. Your plan is flexible and evolves with you—whether you’re shifting focus to longevity, aesthetics, or mental clarity.
What's the long-term benefit of staying optimized?
Consistent optimization helps preserve muscle, cognitive function, and energy while lowering the risk of age-related decline or chronic disease.
Can therapy help me reach fitness goals faster?
Yes—whether your goal is fat loss, muscle gain, or recovery, therapy supports better performance and sustainable results.
Do I need to stay on therapy forever to maintain results?
Not always. Some choose ongoing optimization, while others use therapy in phases. We’ll guide your timeline based on your goals.
How do I stay motivated long term?
By tracking wins beyond the scale—better sleep, clearer thinking, stronger workouts, and the ability to show up fully in life.
Women's Optimization
Specific questions around hormone balance, perimenopause, sexual health, thyroid function, and peptides for women.
How do I know if my hormones are out of balance?
Common signs include fatigue, brain fog, mood swings, irregular cycles, low libido, weight gain, and disrupted sleep—even if labs appear “normal.”
Can hormone therapy help with perimenopause symptoms?
Yes—HOT (Hormone Optimization Therapy) can ease hot flashes, irritability, night sweats, sleep issues, and other hormonal fluctuations tied to perimenopause.
What age should I consider hormone optimization?
Many women benefit in their mid-30s and up—especially during perimenopause, when hormones start shifting years before menopause begins.
Do I need to be in menopause to start hormone therapy?
No. You can begin during perimenopause or earlier based on symptoms. It’s about how you feel, not just your age or cycle status.
Will therapy affect my ability to get pregnant?
It depends on the therapy. We offer hormone-safe and fertility-friendly options depending on whether you’re trying to conceive or avoid pregnancy.
Can peptides help with women's hormone balance?
Yes—certain peptides can support growth hormone, recovery, and energy levels while helping balance estrogen, progesterone, and adrenal function naturally.
Will I gain weight on hormone therapy?
When balanced correctly, hormone therapy can actually make weight loss easier by supporting metabolism, muscle tone, and insulin sensitivity.
What's the difference between estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone therapy for women?
Each plays a different role—estrogen supports mood and metabolism, progesterone aids sleep and calm, and testosterone boosts libido, strength, and focus.
What if I'm on birth control or an IUD?
We’ll work around your current contraceptive method. Some women may benefit from additional hormone support even while using birth control.
Do you offer treatments to with fertility for men and women?
Yes, we offer a variety of treatments to stimulate egg production in women and boost sperm production in men. Both treatments stimulate FSH and LH (follicle-stimulating hormone and luteinizing hormone).
Cost & Insurance
What’s covered, What isn’t covered.
Do you accept health insurance?
We are a cash-only clinic and do not accept or process insurance payments. This allows us to offer more personalized, unrestricted care.
Can I submit a receipt to my insurance for reimbursement?
You’re welcome to try but we are limited in our capabilities for itemized billing codes and do not guarantee reimbursement, as we don’t bill insurance. Insurance reimbursement is often difficult as insurance companies may define these treatments as unnecessary due to their conventional measurements of normal ranges. We hope the insurance industry will adopt new measurements of this range to help prevent illness rather than treat illness. In range unfortunately doesn’t always translate to happy and healthy.
Do you accept HSA or FSA debit cards?
Yes! We gladly accept HSA and FSA debit cards for intake review charges. If you have a HSA or FSA account you would have been provided with a debit card associated with that account. Simply pay the intake fee with that card.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards, debit cards, and HSA/FSA cards (Intake review only). We do not accept checks, insurance, or third-party billing. Venmo payments are also accepted.
What's included in the price I'm paying?
This varies slightly but unless otherwise stated, medications, supplies, consultations, and ongoing care are included. We offer 100% transparent pricing.
Will I know the cost total cost of treatment before starting?
Yes. We want you to feel comfortable with what you’re paying today and what you will pay in the future.
Why don't you accept insurance?
The reason we brought these treatments to you is because health care today is more of a sick care, treating illness. Insurance companies cover a number, we’re here to treat your symptoms and optimize your health, something insurance companies don’t do. Is a yearly checkup really health care?
What if my HSA/FSA card is declined?
This can happen if your plan doesn’t cover certain items. You can pay with a regular card and submit your receipt for possible reimbursement.
Can I use my HSA/FSA card for peptide therapy?
At this time we are not set up to accept HSA/FSA payment for peptide therapy.
