Testosterone Replacement Therapy, or TRT

TRT may be considered for men with symptoms and lab findings consistent with testosterone deficiency. A provider may review total testosterone, free testosterone, SHBG, estradiol, LH, FSH, blood count, metabolic markers, prostate-related risk factors when appropriate, and other health history before determining whether TRT is appropriate.

TRT is not intended as a general performance, bodybuilding, or anti-aging shortcut. If prescribed, monitoring may be needed to evaluate response, side effects, blood pressure, hematocrit, estradiol, and other safety markers.

Hormone Replacement Therapy, or HRT

HRT may be considered for eligible women experiencing hormone-related symptoms, including concerns that may occur during perimenopause, menopause, or other hormone transitions.

A provider may evaluate symptoms, cycle history, menopause status, medical history, risk factors, current medications, and labs when appropriate. Treatment options may vary and can include estrogen, progesterone, testosterone, or other hormone-related therapies depending on clinical need and provider judgment.

HRT is highly individualized. The right approach depends on the patient’s health history, symptoms, goals, and risk profile.

Provider-Guided Care for Hormone Health

Hormones play a major role in how you feel, function, recover, sleep, think, and maintain overall wellness.

When hormone levels shift, patients may notice changes in energy, mood, sleep, libido, body composition, motivation, recovery, or mental clarity. Those symptoms can be frustrating, but they do not automatically mean hormone therapy is right for you.

Powered by Peptides connects patients with licensed healthcare providers who can review symptoms, health history, medications, goals, and lab work to determine whether hormone-related treatment options may be medically appropriate.

Treatment is not guaranteed. Every patient must complete a medical intake and provider review before any prescription treatment is considered.

What Is Hormone Health?

Hormone health is the evaluation of key hormones and related health markers that may influence how the body functions day to day.

For men, this may include testosterone, free testosterone, estradiol, SHBG, LH, FSH, thyroid markers, metabolic markers, and other labs when appropriate.

For women, this may include estrogen, progesterone, testosterone, thyroid markers, adrenal-related markers, metabolic health, cycle status, menopause status, symptoms, and other factors a provider determines are relevant.

The goal is not to chase a single number. The goal is to look at the full picture: symptoms, labs, age, health history, risk factors, lifestyle, and goals.

Why Hormones Can Feel Different Over Time

Hormone levels and hormone sensitivity can change with age, stress, sleep disruption, weight changes, medications, injury, fertility status, menopause, and other health conditions.

Some patients describe feeling like they are doing the right things but not getting the same response from their body. Others feel off but are told their labs are “normal.” In many cases, the next step is not guessing. It is a more complete review.

A licensed provider can help determine whether symptoms may be related to hormone status, whether labs are needed, and whether treatment options should be considered.

What Hormone Treatment May Aim to Support

When medically appropriate, hormone-focused care may be considered for patients with concerns related to:

  • Low energy or fatigue
  • Changes in libido or sexual wellness
  • Sleep quality
  • Mood changes or irritability
  • Brain fog or focus concerns
  • Changes in body composition
  • Recovery and active lifestyle goals
  • Menopause or perimenopause-related symptoms
  • Low testosterone symptoms in men
  • Fertility-conscious hormone support in select cases

These concerns can have many causes. Hormone therapy is not appropriate for everyone, and symptoms alone are not enough to determine eligibility. The options above are educational categories only. They are not recommendations, guarantees, or automatic prescriptions. A licensed provider determines whether any treatment is medically appropriate after reviewing your medical intake, labs when needed, and overall risk profile.

The options listed below are for educational and navigational purposes only. Listing a treatment does not mean it is available, appropriate, eligible for compounding, or that it will be prescribed. Availability may vary based on applicable law, pharmacy policies, formulation requirements, and provider review. A licensed provider determines whether any treatment may be medically appropriate after reviewing your intake, health history, medications, goals, and eligibility.

Prescription Nutritional Supplements

Prescription and provider-directed nutritional supplements may be used when a patient needs more individualized support than a standard over-the-counter product provides. Options can include nutrients such as methylcobalamin (B12), vitamin D3, B-complex vitamins, DHEA, biotin, ascorbic acid (vitamin C), and other formulations selected around individual needs, lab findings, and health goals.

Testosterone for Women

Testosterone is not exclusively a male hormone.  It is a normal and important part of female physiology. Women naturally produce testosterone throughout life, where it participates in sexual function, reproductive physiology, bone and muscle biology, and other androgen-dependent pathways. When clinically appropriate, carefully dosed testosterone therapy may be considered as part of women’s hormone care.

hCG (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin)

hCG, or human chorionic gonadotropin, is a hormone medication commonly discussed in men’s hormone and reproductive health. In appropriate patients, it may support signaling involved in testosterone production and testicular function and may be considered when fertility or preservation of natural hormone function is an important goal.

Enclomiphene

Enclomiphene is an oral selective estrogen receptor modulator commonly discussed in relation to low testosterone, secondary hypogonadism, endogenous testosterone production, and fertility-conscious hormone support in men. It may be considered when a provider is evaluating alternatives to direct testosterone replacement.
